Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 2024

This Terms of Service Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms and conditions under which Absolute Limos (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides party bus and private bus hire services to you (“Customer,” “you,” “your”). By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.

 

  1. Booking and Confirmation

1.1 Booking Process:

All bookings must be made through our official booking channels, including our website, email, or by phone. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation from us via email or other written communication.

1.2 Booking Information:

You must provide accurate and complete information when booking, including your name, contact details, the number of passengers, pick-up and drop-off locations, and any special requirements. We are not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information.

1.3 Age Requirement:

You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. Bookings for minors must be made by a parent or legal guardian.

 

  1. Payments and Deposits

2.1 Deposit:

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due on the scheduled date of service. This booking deposit must be paid before the reservation is confirmed.

2.2 Payment Methods:

We accept payments via credit card, debit card, bank transfer, or other payment methods as specified on our website or booking platform. Full payment must be received by the due date to avoid cancellation.

2.3 Late Payments:

If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain the deposit as a cancellation fee.

 

  1. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Customer Cancellations:

Cancellations must be made in writing via email or by phone.  The following cancellation fees apply:

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the service date: 50% of the total booking cost.
  • Cancellations made 3 days or less before the service date: 100% of the total booking cost.

3.2 Company Cancellations:

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., vehicle breakdown, severe weather), we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule your booking at no additional cost.

3.3 Booking Deposit

In the event of any cancellation, the booking deposit will not be refunded. 

 

  1. Use of Illegal Substances

4.1 Prohibited Activities:

The use, possession, or distribution of illegal substances, including but not limited to drugs and underage alcohol consumption, is strictly prohibited on all of our vehicles.

4.2 Consequences:

If illegal substances are found on board, the driver reserves the right to terminate the service immediately without a refund. Law enforcement may also be notified.

 

  1. Liability for Injuries, Damages, and Loss

5.1 Personal Injuries:

We are not liable for any personal injuries sustained by passengers during the service, except where such injuries are directly caused by our negligence. All passengers are required to wear seat beats and stay seated while the vehicle is in motion.

5.2 Damages and Loss:

You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle or loss of our property caused by you or your party. This includes but is not limited to damage to seats, windows, fixtures, and equipment. Any costs incurred for repairs or replacement will be charged to you.

 

  1. Charges for Damages or Cleaning

6.1 Damage Charges:

If the vehicle is damaged by you or a member of your party, you will be liable for the full cost of repairs, plus any associated downtime costs.

6.2 Cleaning Charges:

If the vehicle requires cleaning beyond what is considered normal use (e.g., excessive spills, stains, bodily fluids), an additional cleaning fee of €100 will be charged.

 

  1. Breakdown and Vehicle Substitution

7.1 Breakdown:

In the event of a vehicle breakdown, we will make every effort to provide a replacement vehicle as soon as possible. If a replacement is not available, a full refund will be offered for the affected portion of the service.

7.2 Vehicle Substitution:

We reserve the right to substitute the booked vehicle with a similar one if necessary due to operational requirements. We will notify you in advance whenever possible.

 

  1. Customer Obligations

8.1 Conduct:

You and your party must behave in a safe and respectful manner at all times. Aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated, and the driver has the right to terminate the service without a refund in such cases.

8.2 Punctuality:

You are responsible for ensuring that your party is ready for pick-up at the agreed time. Delays caused by you may result in additional charges and/or a reduction in service time.

8.3 Maximum Capacity:

You must not exceed the maximum passenger capacity of the vehicle. Exceeding this limit may result in service termination without a refund.

 

  1. General Terms

9.1 Force Majeure:

We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or governmental restrictions.

9.2 Insurance:

Our vehicles are fully insured for passenger transport, including public liability insurance.

9.3 Governing Law:

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ireland.  Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland

9.4 Amendments:

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or otherwise notifying you.
